Does anyone make driving games?

Jason

Awesome Bro

Me and Tuna (Another member here) made a top down driving game called Project GRID, you can check it out from my signature or the arcade up at the top if you like, it was made with Construct 2 and uses HTML 5... also, if you do play it, I'd recommend using Google Chrome, since it has the best performance on there.

Basically, you drive around in an arena, just killing people, there's THOUSANDS (Well, there can actually be up to 2.147 billion... especially on the titlescreen, I've done it, lol), and as well as that, there are enemy cars, tanks and turrets, you can switch between two driving types as well, since the community seemed split between them both, lol.

So yeah, I've made a driving game, and I put the sequel on hold, I MIGHT return to it someday

Smashing I'm going to give that a go now, it's great to see people making driving games.

Also it's great that I'm another person to add to that list :D

I played it and it was a good idea just not a lover of how the car handles, it wasn't too car like if you know what I mean.

It looks cool when you hit a ped too with the red squares

Well I added two driving options to suit everyone (Press D to switch between them) but not everyone can agree I suppose :thumb:

Well one of the driving types enabled drifting which I personally find most useful for killing humans. The other has tighter controls and handles more like a normal car would, it's best used to dodge tanks and turrets, but if you want to get good at the game, you have to learn to master both driving types and switch back and forth to whichever one suits the situation.

ah ok interesting i'll give it another bash, i should have a demo of mine out soon and would be interested in some feedback.
