Some very good songs here.
Now for the c&c...
Obsidian sounds awesome, honestly. Harmony and background music is set out, which then leads to contrast and complement the sharper melody that comes. Variation is made throughout the things, fading melody in and out and the instruments used to make the melody, all the while the harmony sounds good. I really liked this one. I doubt much would be needed to change this, except maybe that it won't sound as good looped as there are lots of different things happening, but it could sound good looped.
Under the stars needs some maintainence. Throughout, the same couple of chords/instruments are used to make the melody, which is promiment throughout the thing. Although probably good as a looping type of thing, it eventually becomes tiring, eventually. Maybe fade the melody out for a moment sometime through the thing and let some harmony play, and then come back to the melody thing. And remember to try to make things a bit looping, as it's game music.
Hope against crisis has pretty nice everything, but takes a moment to reach to melodic parts. The melody itself is slightly soft against everything else going on, but it maybe could work here; but i barely notice any variation in the music because of it. Likeable enough, but not there best piece here.
Whimsical... doesn't sound whimsical. That's the first thing- it sounds a little bit serious, or, at best, like a lightly serious song. It's just not whimsical man. Good enough piece by itself, although the contrast between the lighter and the harmonic thing that's constantly going on isn't the best.
I like the divine crisis trailer. Good contrast, melody and backup, and has lots of feeling to it. Lots of good variation and meandering, all the while keeping up the spirit and feeling. There's really no problem here, except that it halfway becomes repetitive halfway through, not in a bad way, but in a "We'd heard this 20 seconds ago" repetitive. I'm assuming this is the music for the trailer, so that's not really a bad thing.
By Future Menance, did you mean menace? Anyways, very good thing over all. The thing that comes in at about 28 seconds is a bit contrasting that's a bit weird. The melodic bits that come in the beginning (at about 15 secs)and end remind me a little bit of touhou music, which is nice, especially since the fact that it doesn't subtract from the drama/seriousness/feeling of the piece at all
