displaying variables

ok I was wondering if there is a way to display a variable on the screen..

like if a variable equals the players hp how can I display it on the screen.. basically Im trying to make my own evented menu on an empty project. thank you.

to display a variable using the event commands you would do \v[#variable number here#]. For scripting, it gets more complicated, but it sounds like you are using events. If you want it for scripting, just say so..

hey thanks a lot! am I suppose to put that on a comment or something?

so tell me if this would work

\v[0001]

if it would than thanks for telling me but how how I change its position on the screen and how where is the \v[] thing suppose to go.. if you can answer that than than thanks alot! :D

forget it.. I know where to put it now.. I wish you didnt have to have the text box around it though.. oh well..
thanks!
