Direction fix not working.

Um, hello everyone. I'm trying to use direction fix in my rmxp software(I'm using the legal one)and it won't work. What I am trying to do is this: I've made some icons into a character set and every tim I try to make the very first one at the top of the char. set appear in an event by switching it shows up as one of the other icons, and I used direction fix, any help?

Ah, I remember having that issue before, but I don't know the exact answer off the top of my head. Direction fix won't necessary fix your problem, because that still limits that down to 4 different icons, depending on which frame of animation its on. Try disabling "movement animation" or whatever it's called. If you experiment with some of the other checkboxes like that, you should be able to get it working. Basically RMXP is just trying to start at the first frame, because it still treats it like a character.
