Direct Draw Tablet

I'm correctly looking for a Drawing Tablet with a built-in screen kinda like the Wacom Cintiq 12WX. But more on a student's budget. I don't want a Tablet PC just a Screen with Tablet capabilities. I've seen them before. VGA/DVI input and USB output. Any Ideas?

You can try NewEgg, though I don't think they're too great on the touch screens. I think the only brand they've got is ELi or something, and they're rather expensive, but if you get a 15" screen or so it should be...normal cost. I think the problem is those might be industrial- rather than consumer-grade. What's wrong with a drawing tablet?

I have one, but trying to draw on one surface while looking at another is difficult for me. ^_^ I failed typing because I was always looking at the keyboard... :tongue:

Well, this looks to be the cheapest one on NewEgg. There could be better prices at other retailers.

you cant look at the screen while drawing? Seriously...

It takes about... less than a day to get used to it.

I like to use XP-Pen over Wacom.

Get the cintiq 12WX anyway. it's totally worth it. i can't even draw and i bought one.

Nope, but I use one of XP-Pen's standard tablets, so I can vouch for the quality- The recently released a new OS X driver as well.
