Ok, this guide is a very BASIC one that will show you how to create Alternate Endings.
You can have a infinate amount of alternate endings, the only limit being the max amount of space you can use up =D
Don't worry, this file is (maybe) 5 mbits.
First off, you need a basic concept of switches, and how they work. If you want, refer to my (never ever) unfinished game (starless_skys) for an example of a HP dice roll (in the market place). (It uses a system similar to this)
At any rate, lets get on with this.
switches used: 4 or more
Pages used: As many as you want, minimum of 3 for a proper execution.
Knowledge needed: Use of switches.
Ok, create an event, and then
Text: Which Ending?
Show Choices:
When 1:
Control Switches: [0001: 1] = On
When 2:
Control Switches: [0002: 2] = On
When 3:
Control Switches: [0003: 3] = On
When 4:
Control Switches: [0004: 4] = On
For each switch, create a new page and turn on that switch in that event.
Heres my example:
