dialogue system, with choices

Hi people. I'm absolutely convinced thst this request will not be taken up by anyone, still I'll have to ask.
I'd like to see a dialogue system like the one in fallout:
one window, where the npc says something, and beneath it a window with choices of what to respond.

The dialogue parts could be read from a text file (kinda like the item/skill details from the Grouping & Details script).
Every dialogue part would have a set number of lines, and would start with its ID number.
The answers will be identified with their ID number too. And it would be nice to have a way to turn on/off switches and use variables along with different answers.
