Desert Insanity

Thats incredible, seriously thats really good.
I've just been looking into areas of the world such as Devil's Canyon, Devil's Marbles & Kings Canyon, to create a location in an unnamed project of mine, where an extremely hard boss would be lurking.
This kinda music fits perfectly, when I have a hell of a lot more development done, I'd like to contact you and talk business (if your up for it that is).

Wow, I'm surprised this isn't getting the attention it deserves. This song seems so epic...job extremely well done!

6/5

HOLY FLIPPIN' CRAP THIS SONG MAKES ME WANT TO HUG YOU AND PUNCH YOU AT THE SAME TIME!!

What the flip did you use to make this? Did you resurrect a famous composer and get an entire orchestra together?!

Can I say the song is orgasmic?! Well I just did.

Edit: Really, what the heck did you use to make that?

This sounds incredible.

Whatever soundfonts you use are excellent. You have major talent there, I am left virtually speechless.

Is this open to use? I would be VERY interested in using this piece.

Ooh...well you see, I don't have $765 lying around the house lol. There's no like crappy free version of that software or anything?

I'm guessing you guys who have that are doing stuff like that professionally for a career.

Well, I honestly haven't really been doing anything for money. Really what you want to do at such an early stage, is simply get your name out there and let people know you can do great stuff.

If you're wanting to start making music, I don't recommend starting with EWQL samples seeing as the price is over the top. I'd suggest starting with something much less expensive (and easier) such as Edirol Orchestra. If after a while you feel the samples don't meet your needs, then you could upgrade to higher end products ;).

I'll spare you the hype and give you my thoughts.

It's pretty nice. there are some weird or sudden changes in it here and there which kind of break it up funny, but as far as the feeling, it does have that epic quality to it. but there's something about it that erks me.. and i think it has allot to do with the weird breaks i was talking about. They're subtle but they're there, the tempo just ends up kinda skipping a portion of a beat. the other thing is that you might want to try and pick a .. i cant remember the word for it its been a while since music theory, but pattern more or less. you know, A B A C etc. It seems like it just sorta jumps from one thing to another.

It's definitely got allot of good points keep working.

I guess I forgot to mention what I mentioned in almost every other post:

Alright, this is my first ever song in Cubase SX 3 so don't comment on the mixing and / or timing mistakes. I originally got the idea of this song while playing Metal Gear Solid, but got sick of it's utter neutrality. All comments and criticism is very much appreciated.

Link to song.

There's a little part of this at the end that reminds me of the James Bond movies (or at least the theme).

It flows pretty well, and I think you did a good job of capturing the desert mood. I can see it used in a cliff-chase scene of some kind.

Great job :)
