PLOT SYNOPSIS
How dare he! The Fairy Princess has once again foiled poor Gran, this time taking her beloved blue-haired grandson away. Take control of Gran and guide her over hill and dale, through town and factory, defeating vile enemies and buying from questionable shopkeepers, to reclaim your grandson!!

TIMETABLE
Full game will be released when battle system is done. Deluxe edition maybe a month later.

CONTROLS

AGENDA
-Do sprites for Gran and bosses.
-Work out battle system.
-Finish mapping.
-Post main release, will release Deluxe edition with voice acting and more bosses and stuff.

Wow, a platformer. Is it smooth? I'll have to download this- big platform fan (although lately I've begun trying to learn MMF2 since it's better suited for the genre- look into it).

The graphics can definitely be improved, but I'll have to check out how it plays before anything else.

Also not a fan of the name- really makes this sound like another RPG when it seems to be a lot more.
 
Okay, man, I tested it out. Unfortunately I can't say anything very positive about it. Very clever use of the RMXP engine, but ultimately it just doesn't cut it.

The tile-based movement is still VERY evident, and it really prevents any illusion of smoothness- which is pretty much required in platformer physics. Sometimes this "tileishness" made directional jumping furstrating. Additionally, you can jump during cutscenes.

I don't want you to drop the project- I love platformers. I'd suggest looking into alternate programs to develop with: for example, Multimedia Fusion.
