Hey. I'd like to introduce, to you all, my current 2k3 project, Fenrir: First Operation.
Plot
The plot is relatively simple, you're part of a three man cell, responding to a distress call from the ship, Fenrir II. The plot can be expanded by reading computer terminals in game but that's optional. The key points are to be covered by cutscenes.
The Hook
Basically, it's a top down shooter. You navigate the corridors and rooms of the ship shooting crazed scientists and their "specimens". It's simple. It's fun. It's very pick-up-and-play. It gets back to the basics of games design when we didn't need to know why we were an opossum in a suit of armour shooting red rings out of our swords at goblins - it was just fun.
Demo Link
This is a very short demo and covers about a quarter of what's been completed so far. Most of the glitches and bugs have been fixed, the enemy AI has been tweaked and some other minor edits have been made to the areas within the demo, but it's still up, if only because I feel it important you try top get an understanding of how the game works.
