Barnabas was a simple man who lived in Walachia.
He will get married with Mina, but some thing happened and he died…
Barnabas has transformed into a vampire and now, he needs to discover who transformed him and learn how to use his new powers, beside stay safe and flee for the hunters that want to kill him.

Greetings Vlad... I played Cursed Blessings, and it's a real treat to get into.

I admire how you've created the starting entrance with such detail.
Personaly, I love vampire themes, (especialy with adventure & romance put into it). This story has this type of style..I don't see in most vampire theme games now in days.

The demo is is Beautifuly created, as I would Love to play more the chapters to see how this story plays out. ^__^
At first I was having a difficult time battling the first boss...(hehe, however, what you did in that area to allow the player to destroy it faster)...Genius.
Took awhile for me to figure it out though, but what's a rpg without a sense of challenge. ^__~
Have to use our Wits to play any game, especialy this one. ^^

I like the *choice* added into the main character involvement...Either choose *Good* reaction, or a *Evil* reaction.
I love the first hand action attack battle scenes, instead of a typical battle scenes that what is seen more often in sprite rpg's.
Plus I would love to add...I forgot to put it in my first post. I did notice the main cemetary pond effect. That was pretty neat trick. ^^
I did like seeing detail, even the smallest things to mention. (nice work).

The game project itself can be flawless, but I have to add my own critique into this..
The (Names) used in this game, is very steriotypical. (the names are connected to a lot of vampire sources) ^^;;
I think if you had more variety in the main characters names, it can make the project more unique. ^_^
Also If it's possible to add.. I think you should add a Victim Blood meter into the game. So it gives the (Player) main character Barnabas an option to leave his victim alive or kill.
And to show how much blood he's able to take, before it becomes deadly to the victim.

Plus I also think it would be kinda cool, if he battled a creature (who has a blood source)..if he's able to get bottled blood from kills, while in battle with enemies.
So he can survive on (Blood filled creatures)..and maybe the different blood sources has certain properties add to Barnabas's status. (Just a thought) ^__^

All the above, the game has great potencial.

The Dark atmospheres aren't to dark, and I can see the detail you added into the backgrounds. (bonus) ^o^
You did great lighting tones in the scenes, the whole environments was realistic, as I found myself lost in the illusion of playing this main vampire character.

This game has promise, and hopes to see it in full play mode. I hope you'll have the time to give us an updated prototype.. ^O^
