Deja vu - movement problems

I've been in this jam before, and I'm in it again.

I can't move my character on a map. I check the tileset and the tile I used is passable. I changed the tile to another passable, but I still can't move. All I can do is spin, which is humourous for about three seconds.

Does anyone know what could be going on?

If you have an autorun event, it will continue to loop and you cannot move.

Make sure that if you have an autorun and you want it to stop, turn on a switch (self-switches work great), and then on the next page, make it not autorun and require that switch.

This happened to me before... I'm not sure what happened, but here's what I did.

Go to the 2nd and 3rd layer, and select the blank tile (top-left). Go over every "blank" tile again with that tile. Sometimes a different tile that looks empty but has an X passability is there, so you need to get rid of it.

If this doesn't work, check if it's an autotile you're standing on. Sometimes if you mess with the autotile expansion (double-clicking the autotile on the tileset) it screws things up. If so, try changing that tile.

Hope one of these helps..

EDIT: Didn't see your last message until after I posted (that you solved it)  :P
