Hello, pro scripters!!! Unfortunatelly I couldn't find any good tutorials for Ruby. And since RGSS2 is Ruby based... is there some one who can teach me Ruby and RGSS2 for free??? I can't pay, because I have no enough money, but the one who help me learning Ruby and RGSS2 will be respected as a god!!! May Adun guide the souls of the good people who will reply with patience and kindness to me, my beginner skills and this idiotic topic!!! Thank you for the attention!!!

The problem is that I don't even have a basic idea of scripting. The only command I used succesfully was in the main code and it was "print". And it wasn't that succesfully actually, because I tried to do something different. :lol:

ok... I'll try with questions anyway. Can you tell me wich is the easyest to understand default script in VX??? I aske because I gotta have a basic idea what is the whole deal...

While I'm looking at it, I'm trying to do one mor thing that should be simple and done without scripts, but I just can't do it.

When I start the game this boulder and the waves around it are static. How can I make animation with it??? I guess it's the same with the fire animations and the crystals, the swords and etc....

I don't know if that's an event or a tile, if the latter you'll have to sprite animations yourself. If it's an event with pre-made animations, just click the "Stepping Animation" box in the event.
