Custom Message Window Help!!!

I'm making my first game with RMXP. I've got most of the basics down pretty well, but I still don't quite get script.

I was wondering if there was a script that allows me to display an image of the persons face in the message window while he's speaking.

Like I said, I'm not very good with script, so if someone could give me detailed instructions on how use the script and how to change the pic for each person. Any help is greatly appreciated!!!!!

Brew, what if I wanted to customize my own text system? I really want to learn rather than copy and paste....Any ideas?

Study Interpreter 3, command_101 & Window_Message to see how the current system works.
Also take a look at how one of the custom message systems has added functionality.

Once you do that, if you have a specific customization, or questions, post a new thread in this forum.
