Custom Cheat System

I know there is a cheat system out there and I like it.
But I want to be able to put it on the main menu.

SO when you first start the game there are options:

New Game
Continue
Shut Down
Cheat

When you select cheat the cheat screen comes up (the current system is fine for this), you type in the cheat, then you choose what save file to use the cheat on, then it goes to the main menu.
When you boot up the save file, the cheat is in place.
