Critique on the Weeble template

Yo, peeps. I'm posting to get some critique on my Weeble template, that I've recently assembled. Now, before you fly off on how simple it looks, I will tell you that it's meant for just that. To look simple. Nothing complicated or overly complex about it. I'd really appreciate it, if I could get some help from you loving community goers. Thank ye.

Well...
1) In the side views, the arms should be a lighter color, as they stick out from the body.
2) I'd highly recommend some basic placement guides on the head, even if they're just eyes and hair.
3) It's hard to tell which foot is moving. I'd recommend a shadow underneath, which would also help with perspective.
4) The perspective on the head in the side views is messed up. I'd move the lighted area back a pixel or two.

The only problem, meu caro camarada, is that the you' side view is mess'd up too much.

Make the arms on the side views longer to match the front and back.  :thumb:

thats pretty cool. his arms need a fixin, and his sideview needs eyes.

Actually he doesn't need eyes on the sideview, as the perspective is directly on his side.

The feet isn't attached to the body? Looks like Rayman! Other than that I think it's pretty much okay...maybe you can show us a sprite made from the template.

I edited the head to be a bit more natural, thickened the arms, made a female template, and made two characters. Credit goes to you for the template, me for the characters (doubt they'lle be used), and us for the female templat if you used it.

LOLOL, I didn't realize, that so many people posted here already. I really need to frequent this place more often.

Anyways, thanks for the helpful critiques and stuff. I appreciate it deeply. Nonick, thanks to you especially for the examples. Unfortunately, I've decided to stick with the "hunchback" look.

Somebody asked for an example of what the template looked like in action. Well, here's three character sets I've been working with so far. From left to right. Cobra (Main Character), Green Medic, and Armored Green soldier. What'cha think?

Awesome! Please keep this up, its pretty cool. How do they fit on tilesets?
