Critical Chance Skill + Skills Menu

Hey guys.

I want to do a skill that has the same power as a normal attack, though has a bigger chance of hitting a critical strike. I really don't know how to do this, can anyone help me?

Another thing:

In Database, the box of Damage Effect, can anyone explain me what is the Variance, the Attack F and the Spirit F?

Answer to question one:
In the skill, select a common event of your choice. In the common event add a state to the user that increases chance of critical hit, force the user to use a skill relative to his regular damage (this is a default option with RMVX skills) and then remove the state you added.
Answer to question two:
Right click things in XP/VX and click the What's This? button. :P

Variance is how much variety you want your attack to deal damage.
For example, a regular hit is calculated to do 10 damage. If variance is 0, it will always do 10 damage. But if you increase it to say 10, it will do somewhere between 5 and 15 damage (or 0 and 20 damage, not too sure).

Attack F is how much you want the skill to depend on your Attack. If it's a physical skill, you want that higher.
Spirit F is how much you want the skill to depend on your Spirit/Int. If it's a magic spell, you want that higher.

Variance is how much the damage or healing varies. It's percentage based where 20% means the damage can go from 80% to 120%.

Attack F determines how much influence your Attack stat has on the damage dealt and also how much influence the defender's Defense stat has on reducing the damage dealt.

Spirit F determines how much influence your Spirit stat has on the damage dealt and also how much influence the defender's Spirit stat has on reducing the damage dealt.
