What is the creepiest thing in a video game - something that just made you shiver?

The creepiest thing for me would be in Lost Odyssey.  The one army was using magic machines to revive their soldiers before a giant meteor crashed onto the entire battlefield.  The machines began to malfunction and brought the destroyed corpses back to life after the meteor and you had to fight them.

Fatal Frame. The whole thing. Only game that ever forced me to... collect myself.

Also, I remember in Parasite Eve 2, in the lab area there are some cages you can inspect that give text descriptions of what is inside. A couple of those really creeped me out. Monkey's eating their own fingers and all that.

Fear Factor had me on adrenaline throughout the game. It rocked.

I don't shiver at games, but some things in them put chills down my spines...Like the hidden ending in Metroid Prime. Corruption also did the job but it didn't do as much as the first one.

I dont know... but when you play horror games... you are kinda  waiting for things that will creep you out... so at the end... its not that big of a surprise...

Wasn't the dialogue during that based on the writer witnessing a woman being raped as a child or something? Thought I heard that somewhere. Giygas was definitely creepy though, especially since the rest of the game is so mellow and parodious.

I remember jumping a few times in RE4. When you open a container in the jail area, the body bag inside will start muffing and slither around. I shot it. Several times. With a shotgun. Also, nearby, in the kitchen, when you walk in, the oven explodes and this burning dudes comes screaming out. I shot him too.

And Silent hill series also scares me every time, the whole eerie feeling that you get when you play it is enough to freak me out. The game itself isn't too scary, but again, it's the damn atmosphere that makes you wanna piss yourself.
