Excellent!
More white hair highlights near the roots would do it well though.

Oh and isn't it the year 2009? ;)

She does look a little like a guy on close inspection. I think it's her nose.
Other than that, she's beautiful. I'm in love with the eyes :)

*goes green with jealousy at your talent*

It looks a little hurried to me. the use of color is extremely nice, but the strokes are haphazard and somewhat sloppy. you don't seem to change up the brush size hardly at all.

if you were going for a quick impressionist thing, i'd say you were nearly there. but for impressionism you'd need to change up the colors even more, and make your strokes a little shorter and better-planned. also idk if an anime-style face would be a good representation of the style.

other than all that, it's cute :)
the critiques i give to people always make me sound like im being snide or something but i'm just being honest (you've been getting enough praise anyway, a little crit doesn't hurt!) :)

Thank you Venetia!
It's ok, I accept critic~

To be honest I was just playing around different coloring style and trying to do realism (which again I phailed orz...), I didn't know I was doing impressionist...wow

I'll do what you say next time and hopefully I'll get it right, thank you

oh i thought he looked like a girl actually.

2nd one: the hair woudl look better if u used a less streaky brush. even though hair IS individual strands, it looks bad if you paint it like it is. Think of it more as chunks.

I can tell its a girl by the face the nose stands out towards "male" as stated above but what really stands out to me is the neck and shoulders seems somewhat "manly" to me.

The second image seems to me like you are trying too hard :) the first one just needed small adjustments. The hair on the second image seems not to have much emotion to it. However you are got the "female" essence to stand out more in the second.

Now you got me hooked, to see how you progress cant wait to see more! :D

The anime style drawing definitely looks to be more of your forte, though what draws my attention here are the right hand--looks a little detached from the wrist there, and also the fingers are curved in a little bit of an unnatural way--and the braid also feels a little awkward just coming out there as I feel it would at least roll off part of her shoulder. Also as just a minor note her right clavicle is angled a little too high.

Good use of line weight and black/white contrast, though.

I would just make the undershirt hug the hips it looks like it is just hanging in front of her unless its meant to be like that... I really love it :) nice work on the detail
