Controls Go Crazy in all RM Games

Okay... I've looked all over the web and can't find any help! My problem is this:

When I try to play someone elses RMXP or RMVX game it loads up fine and dandy... except that the controls are moving themselves basically. I can't press up, and it's like the down key is constantly pressed. This doesn't happen testing games so far... just playing them. And I mean ANY game. Any thoughts?

1) Check your gamepad connection(s)
2) Check your keyboard connection
3) Restart

It's also worth checking if your computer thinks that a device is plugged in-- once in a while, that'll happen, and you'll be getting input from a nonexistent gamepad.

Haha it's rather funny the solution... I was confused because I unplugged my gamepad but to no avail. Turns out the computer thought the webcam was a gamepad. As soon as I unplugged it, it worked fine! Thanks for the help guys!
