Composers / Audio Artists?

Thanks to Strawberii, I was able to get bunch of voice actors last time,
But as title says, I want your advice on getting Composers and Audio Artists for my game, or If you are skilled with that,
I want to get some help from you.
(I know it is not good to ask everything but my limit in english skills and lack knowledge led me to question.
And it seems searching google is no help, since i see lots of things that i don't want / or not exact.)

The reason is simple, I use music i got from all sorts of method. Internet Download Sites, Rip-off from the game,
or sometimes some people make one for me. But the most problem is Download Sites and Rip-offs are ultimately illegal,
and i feel shamed that i have no talent in composing / not being able to get audio artists for me.

I asked several people who can do some composing, but it ended up all bad. They quit the team without any words,
Or gave up in the middle. And some required payment since they were professionals,
But it was crazy amount of money that i can't pay.

I already posted a thread about hiring people for my team, but it seems no one is interested and there is no reply.

Any ideas guys..?

I'm in the same situation as you, I sometimes find very enthusiastic composers who start dropping out after making 2/3 demo tracks (Leaving me unable to use their work) and then they disappear.

I've been approached by a music company before now and they decided to give me their worst piece of work as a demo, so it's difficult as on one hand you get talent who don't keep up communication and the other hand you get people who just produce terrible music and don't even care, music matters.

This has led me to produce visual demos with game-ripped music to show to composers before we start the discussions, perhaps you should go the same way

I visited your site and checked out your samples... But i am afraid the answer is NO.
I don't mean your skills are bad, but it is just because it isn't the style that matches the game
Sorry moog. :-(

And there is already a composer with me, but i'm not sure if he'll do well.

I don't know if you know of a place, but Newgrounds has quite a nice collection of Audio artists. I don't know how good they are when commissioned, as it is not really the purpose fo that part of the site, but most of the music is free to use if credit is given (and its not a commercial product). So you could probably trawl through there, I've found a lot of good music in there!

That sounds quite nice. I will look for it.

Ever consider utilizing open source music? There's some very decent stuff out there if you search for it. Maybe it wouldn't feel original, and more than likely you'd want a composer or two working on remixes of the main theme or whatever, but there is a lot of high quality open source/royalty free music out there.

Well, I'd like to know about that if you can give me some links to pick up those musics. I don't really know what sites offer that kind of stuff.
