Compiling a Gamedisk Help!

hey there
i have a quick question.
When i go to upload my game onto the internet, do i upload only the .exe file or do i upload the test files also.

when i compiled a gamedisk it game me the .exe file and two other files that are called "Test.002" and "Test.003"
do i upload all three or just the .exe file.

also one more quick question.
i went to test the game to make sure it would install or whatever and play right,
and it only does the audio and it come up with an error and quits.
how do i make that stop happening?

Is this RMVX or RMXP? For RMXP you will only need the .exe file. Not sure with RMVX though, but it sounds unlikely.

yeah it's for RMXP.

Hmm... never experienced that. Oh, and I've never experienced those Test.* files appearing either. Did they appear once you compiled, or did they already exist? Make sure you check that, because that sounds pretty odd to me.

Also, if you download a gamedisk for any other RMXP game on this board, you will see that it should extract it all fast and easy. If you appear to have the same problems with other people's gamedisks, then it's something with your computer. I had such a problem once. If not, try recompiling your game.

Those test files appear after i compile the gamedisk.

I've downloaded plenty of demo's and Gamedisks from here in the past and i had no problem at all.

Although my computer has been acting up a bit lately, and i dont have internet on my computer that i do this stuff on, so when i compile a gamedisk i have to transfer it over to this computer to upload it, and it still gets that error on this computer and this computer is brand new just got it about 2 weeks ago.

But since my other computer has been acting weird lately im going to transfer everything over to this computer and try compiling it on here and see if i still get the error afterwords.

Oh, and I have recompiled the game many many times both encrypted and not, there is no change.

I post again once i transfer stuff over and let you know if i still get an error.

It might be a corruption within your RMXP installed on the other computer causing this. Also note that if the compiling seems choppy, like stopping constantly or pretty often during the compilation, you might wanna consider a reinstall.

Before you reinstall however, try what you mentioned in your previous post and let me know the updates.
