It'd make the production of ABS' much easier if there'd be a system that checks for the exact graphic that's used for example for a projectile, so I thought I suggest that for a script.
The gist of it should be that you can check per if-code if an event collides with another event, based on their sprites. The script should also give the possibility to check not only for the sprite's square outlines, but also for the picture's used pixels, meaning transparent pixels won't be checked.
Example for that:
OOOXX
OOOXX
XXXXO
OOOXX
OOOXX
The O's shouldn't trigger a true, the X's should.
Well, it'd be nice to have a Event checking by the event name included, because for projectiles, event ID's would be a little more complicated. Ah, and support for PNG transparency (means not only the import transparency setting) would be very appreciated.
Thanks in advance, though I'm not sure if this is easy or not... ^_^
