co-op/lan games in XP?

Hello ,
Me and some friends have been talking about making a dungeon crawler consisting of short adventures that up to 4-8 players could join in on like a LAN game. My question is if its possible to create a LAN co-op game in RMXP? one that could suport (as I said) anywhere from 2-4 or 8 players, an ABS and a few other little things like quest logs and whatnot.

As I understand it, the answer is "With grave difficulty." Netplay could, in theory, do this, but Netplay itself is hardly perfect. I'm not a Netplay expert, though. Perhaps if you do a Search for Netplay?

I have and I couldn't find anything useful on using netplay or getting it up and running. If you have even the faintest Idea of where one could start learning how to set it and some sort of co-op system, please let me know...T-T

You first have to be a quiet an expert at Ruby. That is when you downlaod netplay and start changing it to your own needs.
