Hello friends, I'm a self taught composer. Now that I've resigned from my office job, I compose for a living. I love video games songs since I was a kid, and now that I have learned much about music at my younger age, I'm now able to make the music in my head into reality, and I can get closer to my favorite musicians and composers. To fellow musicians here, let's support each other and do our best to make good music.

I will post my progress on this thread, and I will list my finished and ongoing projects here on the first post.

Ongoing Projects:
Twili Legends - an MMORPG by Nick Dugger

Ad Lucem - a fully customized RMXP game by Joe Mayo

Eternal Grace - a fully customized RMXP game by Jasprelao & friends
Finished Projects:
Secret of Life Flower - Belugerin Games
A point & click flash adventure game.

Epic Quest (with Fandrey) - Artlogic Games
A tactical battle RPG flash game.

Sword of August (with Ghur) - Trimutation Team
A classical shooter flash game with modern RPG touches.

The Last Village - Belugerin Games
A flash strategy game with Native American theme.

Battle Gear 2 - Belugerin Games
A flash strategy game with World War theme.

Tree Panic - Lucidrine

As i'm listening to Dim lights I notice the subtle flow of music you got going, on the first set of three. The sound processing seems to be fairly solid and clean. The bass comes out punchy and the percussion are nicely panned.

Then the usable tracks I can see some improvement. FL studio doesn't come with the best samples standard but songs like 'An ego's farewell' really makes the best use of it, and is my favorite of the bunch. :) There's something about the echo that I like. It makes it all dreamy-like :cute:

Wow, just got done listening to a few of your mp3s, ya i love the flow! they are REALLY soothing, its like secret of mana meets my final fantasy lol, i'm workin on a few of my own as i post this, the piano in "ego" is great. i'll try to listen to a few others later

@shizu
Then the usable tracks I can see some improvement <= I agree with you, when I have the time, I should really do a lot of improvements. ego's farewell, yes I intended it to be dreamy, glad you liked it.

@dsoulja85
thank you ^^ i'll listen to your songs too

@MCsepiroth13
glad you liked it.

I have more songs, when they are finished, I'll upload them. Thanks a lot for listening and posting.

Clea, just curious, what type of program are you using? In "Pond" I'm not sure what kind of instrument it is but it sounds almost like a harp/soft picato string?? Theres ALOT of sound

-"Ego's Farewell" wut's that string that almost sounds like its straight out of secret of mana? I LOVE that sound

-utilization sounds pretty tight too, that guitar really shines it up

-i'm trying to criticize you but "Amethyst" caught my attention too lol nah it sounds good too

-Dim lights, seems like more of a WiP, the way it sounds at the end caught my ear, or were you goin for the sudden drop stayn with the title mayaybe>>?

but ya hope to hear more, I SWEAR I feel like i'm in secret of mana when i listen to your music!

im liking what im hearing here, so far ive listened to pond, an ego's farewell, and utilization.

not really much to comment on with pond and ego, but i have a few words about utilization.

i really like the blend of like jazzy/trance/pop-punk thing you got going on. ive been trying to make similar tracks, less dancy than utilization but a more electronic jazz/folk/metal/punk-ish style, like music they would listen to in a like semi-futuristic/fantasy/steampunk setting. but im having some writers block in that area, i write too much 8bit metal.

anyway, really digging your sound, a lot of your stuff sounds like it was ripped from a square game, which is a very good thing

@Soulwake
Hi, I use FL8 and SampleTank mainly. Yup, it's Pizzicato Cello, Acoustic Guitar, Choirs, Fretless Bass and more. I played Secret of Mana but I don't remember the songs. Maybe I should play it again. About dim lights, my bad, I want it to loop naturally but I didn't do it right. Gotta fix it later.

@Gulch
utilization, i didn't plan it to be like that. I guess that's what happens when Jrock/Jpop mixes with trance and "game" genre. About my sounds, I don't rip any game lol, it's either SampleTank, soundfont, real recordings or a mix of some instruments and effects. Looking forward to hear your trance ^^

I listened to your Fafnir's Bane and Death by Hammer, both are brutal, yet really nice, full and powerful. It really brings back memories of NES era and it has a certain charm to it. So this is 8 bit metal.. cool thing. I really want to hear your songs with modern real sounds, I think it will be really interesting.

@Chief
Hello, you're here too ^^

i really like singing trees a lot, almost breakbeat sounding drums, it just a very solid song

wishes in the dark is beautiful, its so full of raw emotion

eagle eyes, its good, but i think the violin sound used could use a different sound, keep it a violin, but, the sound you have now doesnt really work well with the short notes

think your words reminds me of a nes game called kiwi craze a little bit.

thanks for posting, you write great stuff

Thank you very much Clea, I really appreciate it...
All of your songs are precious and adorable...

Hello all, I'm the one who concept the Eternal Grace (ongoing)

Nice to meet you all...

Thanks...

Thank you, Gulch & Jasprelao. Yes, now that I listen to it, I think the violin should be a legato instead of staccato ^^ I will do better next time!

Here is the OST for a Strategy Flash Game called The Last Village. The game is Native American themed.

Track list :
1 resolute minds
2 fight for honor
3 elder's insight
