Finished this song yesterday, and I'm actually pretty happy with the way it turned out. It's probably going to be used for the credits in my still upcoming game. This is probably going to be my last song in a little while, since I'm starting work on a new project with Despain. All comments are appreciated.

I really like the chromaticism going on here... especially the part around half way through. Do, re, me, mi, fa, fi, SOL! I loved that.

I also like the cinematic feel all your stuff has. Are you using EWQLSO Gold? I've heard things about it being the library to shoot for, and if I remember right, you might have mentioned it before... and are you doing any professional stuff for films, by chance? You would probably be pretty good at it.

Thanks man. Yeah, EWQLSO Gold is what I use for my samples. I don't really make music for any big budget movies, but I'll often compose for small local movies and commercials. Pays well. :tongue:

That's the career I have in my future fantasies. I'm thinking of getting Garritan's Personal Orchestra, do you know anything about that?

Garritan Personal Orchestra's sample quality is inferior to to EWQLSO's, but it's a really good place to start. If you ever want to make stuff for bigger projects other than video games though; once you get the hang of gpo, I highly suggest getting your hands on EWQLSO.
