8/16/07: Sorry for the long absense. I added a new characterset, the green and white dress.

8/8/07: I added a new characterset and four icons. The new characterset is the one with the green shirt.

8/5/07: For everyone waiting for my latest characterset, it's the one with the yellow shirt. :thumb:

:D Hey there. Most of you don't know me, but some people might have seen my work. I've been spriting a lot lately, so instead of spamming the board like I have been, I'll just put everything I make in here. Note that my work is far from that of Tana or Ccoa, but it's not terrible, either.':|

It won't be just charactersets, either. Transitions, titlescreens, and other stuff might be appearing, too. It all depends on what I feel like working on. What this thread is for is to have somewhere to put all of my work and for you to comment on it.:thumb:

So, I'll stop babbling, 'cause that's probably not what you're here for.

Oh, and as a side note, please credit Enterbrain and KaitLyyn for most of the hair, as I can't quite grasp the concept yet(Look at my first characterset.)-_-​

Okay, this is an update. I added an Icons section with four icons. I also added a new characterset, the green-shirted one.

These are wonderful, Chiyo, especially for earlier work. I agree with your comments on the thinness of your first three characters (although I still love the second one, for some reason), and I have a couple suggestions for you:

I) On your first character, do some shading just beneath the hair: make it a bit darker to reflect the shadows that would be created. Trust me, even if you're not very good at hair it makes it look much better.

II) Your second character in your newest series (the one wearing the yellow shirt) seems a bit odd in that, although her shirt is yellow, the darkest tone in it is pure black. It does look odd if you make it just a dark yellow, but one can get away with a yellow-grey colour, much like the second darkest tone in the jacket.

Your transition and title screen are pretty much flawless: I can't offer any suggestions on those.

As for your icons, I love the lantern (though I think it should either be one pixel thinner or extend back a bit more).

Aww, thanks Nix. The yellow shirt actually is supposed to have a black trim where the black is. That's why it's so dark. And the second one in the freakishly-thin collection is my favorite as well, 'cause FF7 is so close to my heart. ^_^

The green and white dress is VERY cute. You've come a long way in the last few weeks, good job!

My only note would be to add one semi-dark to the green part of her dress's palette, or lighten the dark green outline, because the outline is very apparent.
