Character Name Help?

[Arkotrath]

I am having trouble naming a few of my characters/places in the first RPG that I am making (for XP), called the Battle of Arkotrath. I will give you the setting of the story and bio's for each character, so you can have a better idea of what you think they should be named. They will be marked by numbers.

The Setting:

In the extensive reach of the dictating kingdom of 1, there is the great city of Elturia. This is the birthplace of the renowned Wizards of Legend. The thirteen Wizards of Legend are called forth by the wretched King Galdor, who tortures them until he is given much of their knowledge. Now without a need for these wizards, he orders to kill every single one of them. After the slaughty of twelve, only one is left, named 2(I am thinking of Hentorah), who has never been found and is kept in hiding. Until now.

A boy named 3, not yet an adult, has stumbled upon a glowing rock that when held, shakes the earth and opens up a cave, which he finds 3 inside. He finds an interest in 2, and asks to learn his ways. After long years of training away from home, he has obtained spells and weapons that can conquer even King Galdor, yet he does not know how to control them. 2 and 3 journey together to try to take down the evil King Galdor.

Bios:

Kingdom 1:
Kingdom 1 is the biggest kingdom owned by one man (King Galdor). But it only became that after King Galdor's warriors conquered every other kingdom close to it.

Wizard 2:
A wizard almost forgotten by time, who has aged longer than most have ever known, using ancient spells and techniques to allow him to stay alive. Although so old, his spells have given him the look of a young adult. He is very considerate when it comes to other people, but yet not usually himself.

He wears a blue wizard hat, and under it light grey hair, blue eyes, white trousers and boots.

Boy 3:
One of the smartest in his teachings, yet at such a young age, not even an adult is always talked down to by elders. His wish is to do something special with his life, to get himself known.

He has red-brown hair, blue eyes, a black shirt, and brown leggings.

Hopefully this is enough.

EDIT: Just added the king's name and asked for a name for the kingdom.

How about for the wizard call him Edgar or Kharok
For the boy, Valence, Riegar, or Justan
For the king how bout, Delivar, Feroen, Galdor, or Sahson

Feel free to tell me how lame these sound lol

Galdor sounds good for the king, I'm going to use it unless if something else better pops up. But with the wizard, I kind of like Hentorah better than Kharok, but I know of something else to use Kharok for, so thanks. But as for the boy, I don't like much of the names.

The king strikes me as rude and selfish. I would imagine a man like him would probably name the kingdom after himself. So maybe call it Galdoria or Galdoryn. Or just plain Galdor.
An alternative, historical trend would be to name the Empire after the nation or central city-state. In that case, I would suggest calling it the Elturian Kingdom, or perhaps (based on the closest historical match for the name that springs to mind) the Eltrucan Empire.

Hentorah is a nice name, actually. It has a classical feel to it. It also makes me think of a monster from a Godzilla movie named Hedorah, but that's by the by. I personally think that suits the character well - since he's so old, and near forgotten, he could have an alias, like "Old man Hento" or something. He might keep his real name hidden so people don't realize that is who he is.

The boy, wants to make a name for himself yet is talked down to, so you'd want something distinctly "young" sounding yet still selfless and heroic. Maybe Richard, that is a good, strong, heroic name (as in Richard the Lionheart) but still is down to earth. Once he becomes more of a hero, people could start calling him "Richard Firehair" on account of his redish hair.
This would also allow you to potentially revisit the story years later with "Richard Firehair" referenced as a great hero from ages past.
