I'm impressed. It's hard to place your style, but it looks like somewhere inbetween FLCL and those Hommel figurines (google 'em if you don't know what I'm talking about).
The perspective is great and the colors are soft and pleasing. Your strokes also really convey personality and skill.
I can see very quickly, however, that your weak point may be in hands. The clothing wrinkles are well-thought, the faces have a lot of personality, and the style is very clearly defined, but the hands need work (although I realize that if it's a watercolor(?) painting that's impossible, I'm talking about in future endeavors). Toes, too.
This is made obvious by:
a.) The girl is covering her right hand. This would not be a problem, except it's likely because of c.
b.) The girl's left hand, placed awkwardly, lacks joints. You don't seem to have a prob with angles because the clothes are plenty angular, but fingers generally don't curve, especially all the same way

.
c.) The boy's left hand is missing, which seems to me that you're hiding more hand troubles. It wouldn't be a problem, it's just something I see often in character sketches by people who have trouble with hands.
d.) The boy's right hand seems alright, except the pinky, which disappears, presumably into the palm, but he'd have to be clenching pretty hard to hide it that much. Were it hidden by perspective we'd be able to see more of his knuckles and part of his index finger.
e.) The boy's right foot's toes are covered (yet again working around weak points), and the left foot's are awkward: why is the big toe so small?
I totally understand about working around weak points. My weak point is strong POV's, so you'll see very few of my pics with forced perspective. But we all gotta work on our weak points to make them stronger! I used to have a problem with thumbs, but now they're my favorite things to draw :p.
Anyway, it looks very stylish. These are just notes from an artist to an artist

. I doubt someone without the skills would pick up on those things without training/school, so don't freak or anything 8-).
