Char Re-Edit Still Stuck on Old Template

I had a sloppy version of the character that was played through the first part of the game. But now when I upload the new better version, it is still stuck on the old version.

I've searched, I've tried erasing all of the old template (including the saves that he was on), all the stuff in materials, and in the database, and whenever I hit the switch for him to enter party, he is still same old mess....

what do i do????

man, im sorry for double posting, cause i don't want to annoy anyone....

but i'm really friggin stuck on this....ive been at it for like 3 hours, and ive got no clue what to do about it.....

i really dont want to save everything, start new, copy it, and have to retype all the events over again.....

please tell me theres another way to get rid of the old template....its only on one character too, i tried it on 2 other ones and they are fine...just one reverts with all fresh stuff......

When you edited the image, did you change the name (Save As...)?
If so, you need to re-select the image in the 'Actor' tab of the database.
Do you have a 'Change Actor Graphic' command in the event that adds him to the party? (Or, a 'Set Move Route -> Change Graphic' command?), make sure you are changing to the new file.

Yes, I am positive I did all of that.

I ended up erasing the whole event and it went away. I'm going to take this opportunity to start over fresh, touch up some things that I wasnt as thorough about before.
