Changing character speed

ok i need to know how to change the speed on my character while he is on certain maps please help me i'm sorry i have to be so short but i don't have much time on the computer right now please help

In the maps you want, you make a paralel process event with a command: "Move Event" on where it changes the speed to whatever you wish. Then, in every map, as you enter, character's speed will be as you wish.
