Yep, happy anniversary to me. August 31st, 2005 was the day I made my first couple of posts and topics way back when RMXP.net was still up and running.

So this whole anniversary/first post thing inspired me to make this topic.

This topic is about how have you (The person who is reading this) have changed over the months, probably years of being into the forums. (You may talk about the negative and the positive changes that you have made.)

How were you then (When you first joined RMXP.net/.org) and how have you changed over the months? You may reflect a little bit before replying.

When I first joined, it was only to ask RPG-Advocate a question. Then I took off for a bit, came back, wowed the world with my l33t scripts, became a problematic member, became a moderator, gave up moderatorship because I was a problematic member, made more problems, dissapeared under the name Sylver, came back, pissed off more people, dissapeared for a few months entirely and now i'm back and up to the same old tricks.

I first used the noob/32 account before I decided to join...I don't know why I never joined, it was free...
I wasn't a noob tho, I had been at other sites...

I first came around to show off Utopian Chaos XP... and that's pretty much why I'm still around now. I was never a noob, though, even back in rm95+ days.

Sorry if I wasn't too specific or anything on my first post, I meant changes you've made. In terms of personality and/or somewhat like that. It's ok though. :)

Awesome Bro

When i first joined I was exactly the same as i am now. My artistic talents have improved over time, but that isn't really from the rmxp community, more Kaeru-Sama's teaching. Yes, I do love him.

i used to be just like lene but that was back in the old world of dark empire...

now i am the ideal member and everyone likes me

Edit:

ohly shi- PREXUS IS SYLVE

I used to use emoticons. Now I only use them in IRC as a sarcastic joke. Also, I changed my avatar. Oh and the incredible bitterness thing kind of crept in too. (I used to be cheery)

Is was.. Well... I can't seem to recall my days at rmxp.net. All I can remember was going from member 10574somelargenumber to member 16.

When i first joined Gamingw, i was a nooby noob. Then i joined rmxp.net and became ultra cool and amazing.

Well the two sites do have completely different standards.

You went from being a total noob who I had no idea who you were to being pretty cool imo. And that's not just because you did those passabilities for me- you're a nice guy on the irc.

When I first joined as Huitzilopoctli, I'd just learned the fundementals of Ruby, and I came to ask a scripting question  Those were the days when Fuso, Near and rpgmaker were always around, and they basically taught me to script between them. I remember discovering the Symposium and being a complete brat, (sorry in particular to Arc and Poyzin :S). Since then I supose I've chilled out a bit, as well as got my head around the whole scripting thing. I remember when I was promoted to Support staff and the proud day when I managed to answer every single question on the first page of RGSS Support  In fact, I used to have a screen shot of that. Got modded, basically disapeared to do exams, and came back to discover that net had finally melted down, and now I seem to be modding this forum. Hmm. What a wild ride.

I joined RMXP because I wanted to try out the Easter Challenge that was going on. Didn't finish (well I have the game that I made still with me) but it inspired me to keep trying at making something worthwhile.

But I liked community challenges like the Easter Challenge so I sort of set out to do more of the same sort of thing. I was really into joining/doing community things in general. I still am, but at a slightly lesser degree because I have a bit more on my plate than I did last year.
