Damnit, first no one knows about Braid and now no one seems to be talking about Castle Crashers!
The site (which is sometimes down due to all the hits the developers have been getting.)
IGNs page.
For those who don't know Castle Crashers is an arcade-style sidescrolling beat-em-up with some standard RPG elements (leveling, weapons, spells and stat distribution.) You and up to four other players (online, offline, or part online part offline I think) go through several levels fighting chibi monsters, thieves, eskimos, dragons and such trying to save four chibi princesses who have been kidnapped.
The game is by the Behemoth, the guys behind Alien Homonid and lots of other Newgrounds games (for those familiar with Alien Homonid, please note that Castle Crashers is a million times easier than the hell that is Alien Homonid.)
The game is horribly addictive and deep, with a funny storyline and a twist ending that's best viewed with three of your friends together with you. Available on XBLA, if anyone already has it and wants to party up for questing I'm up for some adventuring when I have some downtime. I have two characters I've used to beat the game, all animals and the best weapons in the game currently.
So, anyone have the game and interested in partying? <-- Thread discussion can be about that or impressions of the game
