can i run the games on 98?

98??? Why??? That's two OS generations behind! (Lots of ppl think Vista sucks, but still...)

No, I highly doubt it would work. I'm pretty sure most XP programs don't work on 98. That's why it says "Windows XP" under the requirements.

It does work on 98, my friend had rmxp running on his 95. It was a bit slow, but it was still there.

Yes men, RMXP run in 98, I have win XP and 98 and the program run perfectly, Zero Problems. (The games also run eh)

The RMXP is called XP because the color deep is 16-32-64 bits of video, and the olders Pc's only had a maximum of 8 bits, obviusly if you have a modern Pc with 98 Rmxp will run, if you have an older pc the software doesn't run...

Plus the fact that it renders in software mode means the highest compatibility possible.
