Hey guys just thought I should add some of my artwork to the forum here :D

A lot of my stuff is still in progress or was lost when I transferred computers recently (after my laptop died totally)

Thought it was about time this thread got updated, even if it is just with a WIP

I have yet to add any shading to this character, but I would love to hear any feedback regarding my line art.

The character is more of a self portraits (I'm currently looking at self portraits in art class by the way.... I'm not just vain )

I think the hair has been greatly inspired by DeathNote.


I wanted to try a more washed out use of colour than the usual bright colours I have gone for in the past.

As I said earlier it's still a WIP so hopefully the final piece will be more expressive.

On the sideviews, they look like their heads are bent forward...

And the lips look like they are trying to kiss something. Plus, its CONFUSE LINES... Lines repeatedly drawn in a single path...

But you color in a unique style.. Good Work!

This is what happens when you keep wearing a shoulder bag hehe. I love your style and you know it, I know I'm bias, but I would say when I didn't like something as much. Although I love you, I hate you sometimes for drawing so well .. hehe! In a good way though !

Um, I think his head is a little small myself but hey, what do I know? I'm only the artist :p

This picture was based from a frame I had to complete for a storyboard to be sent off with my University Application (to get me an interview at least)

Here's hoping I can impress them!

(P.S, I've really enjoyed this topic because I think I can see improvement in my own work.. so if I keep going and try harder hopefully I will succeed ':| )

o_O OMG! WOW! Seriously, how do you manage to improve your work in like a day ! You crazy thing. I like the way that you have drawn this, and kept the lines you have drawn in, makes it looks much more original to your own stuff. I really like the left arm also, you did it really well.
