I am learning on to pixel, not easy, but I have played around with pixels; first time I want to learn to create my own. (o.o) Well, I figure the best way to learn is to jump both feet first and just pixel. So I got a template and I started on my worst part: HAIR! I hate hair it's the worst part of a person, then their hands. I hope to learn all I can, and I will listen to everything you have to say.

I can completely sympathize, pixel art can be a big pain to learn.

Before you go too in-depth with the shading, I recommend you raise her hair a pixel or two above and around her hair. Even though it's short hair, it should should be a little bit bigger so it doesn't look like a skullcap clinging to her scalp.

(o.0) Okay, I need to REALLY work on my hair, because it's suppose to be a guy. The character template is a guy, anyone willing to give pointers on how to make guy hair cuts? I'm a girl, and I've only had a single hair style for my entire life. STRAIGHT and long.

oi my bad, although the template is very feminine - I wouldn't put the blame on your hair. Google image search is the best resource you'll ever need, just google whatever hairstyles you're looking for and you're good to go.

There's also a ton of fashion blogs you can find that way that'll give you a lot of great ideas concerning hair and clothing for men and women. They're really invaluable if you're working on a modern game and need inspiration for npc clothing/hair.

Thanks I'll do that, since it'll give me an idea about what I can do. Although, I do know there are some haircuts that just aren't possible on those size of sprites. (^_^)/ I'm beginning to see the logic, but my mind is still confused about cloth and animation. How it changes when the person moves, eventually I'll figure it out. (o.o) Even the tutorials don't seem to help me on this fact I guess I haven't had my "AH HA!" moment yet, when everything suddenly makes complete sense. I think I pixel some balls and such tomorrow after working on a long should be finished project.
