This was unexpectedly fun! You would never really think of parking as fun, haha.
I agree with gillenew that the way that the car handles feels kind of off. When people drive at low speeds, they don't keep their foot on the accelerator, they let the car drift, and use the brakes.
Perhaps allow the car to continue moving forward when not accelerating, but make the event check that if the car is still moving forward, pushing [down] will brake the car, instead of putting it in reverse.
But if the [down] key is pressed and the car is no longer moving forward, it goes backwards. (In IRL cars, you have to fully stop and manually put the car in reverse, anyway!)
Also the footprint for where you should park the car feels really unforgiving. In level 1-2, I could SWEAR that I had the car within the green footprint, but it kept saying I was failing the mission.
You may want to add scores and widen the footprint with different colors.
So like "A+" for parking PERFECTLY inside the green area, "B" for having some of your car in a yellow zone (just outside of green), or "C" for partially being in a blue zone (outside of yellow zone).
And then the number of times you bash your car against things will knock your grade down 1 or 0.5 letters, and you can only move on to the next level if you get a D or better.
That way, the player doesn't have to be PERFECT but they will have an incentive to re-play to try for a better score.
You see what I mean?
P.S. I love the sound effects, very cute :cute:
