"Button Combo" CBS

This was recently inspired by a trip on YouTube to the Lost Oddessy section and a bit of Blue Dragon. Then the last stop was Mother 3.

First off, let me explain how these three worked, and give videos of it in action. The system I'm going to request might be a bit simple actually.

Lost Oddessy: The battle system was a simple button press and then time it right when you attack. Then you would score a critical and gain a bit of speed. Simple, yes; but it seems to work well according to the trailers of the game.

Blue Dragon: Since this is the only one I have, I can explain this one best. When you attacked; there was a bar at the top of the screen. Each skill had a random charging speed which determined how fast the bar would fill up. If it hit a certain part, the skill could go faster, cost less MP, and deal more damage (possibly even attacking more enemies). However the farther it was, the larger the possibility of it doing the lowest possible damage to even missing. If it was in the middle of those two points, the skill would work normally.

Mother 3: This one depended mostly on the musical score, however this features the "Combo" feature I'm looking for. Each skill had it's own type of song to go along with it based on the character using it. If you pressed the action button again in rhythm with the song, it would continue until you messed up.

Basically, I would want it that you trigger it with a button press that rates you and determines your damage on the combo (like for example getting Horrible! would make your attacks do 15% of their normal damage, while getting Crazy! would make it do around 130%). Then there's a bar that fills up based on how your timed button presses are (like every second you have to press it if you're using Arshes/Aluxes, but if you're using Basil, you have to press it every half a second then suddenly two seconds). There would be up to 5 bars for attacks. Each button press will fill up 10-25% of the bars.

Here's a rushed image in paint to get the basic idea done. "Bad!" is there to show he messed up on the timing, and that all of his attacks are weaker, shown by the red ones. The bar is red to show he messed up, though O don't care if differently colored bars are in or not. The side view you shouldn't worry about. It's just the first thing that came to mind. Anything I might not of explained, ask me a bit. While I haven't played those games enough to actually experience the Battle Systems and know how they work in full detail, I will answer to the best of my ability.

Also, thank you in advance.
