Hi Buttery,
Your style fluctuates so much, I don't quite know what to say about it.
Your sprites severely suffer from haphazard shading ... And
pillow shading, especially in this:
The animations are interesting, albeit choppy (need more frames, smoother transitions, or more differentiation in movement on walk cycles).
But the Traditional Art pieces are very difficult to critique.
Some of them demonstrate a good level of mastery in form and decent skill in shading, like this:
Some of them are mostly okay in form, but pretty bad in contrast value, like this:
And then the two portraits demonstrate nervousness in form (as indicated by the lack of variation and telltale "hiding the hands" pose) as seen in these two:
You notably have a REALLY hard time with hands, which is a very common problem ... My only advice there is just to PRACTICE PRACTICE PRACTICE. Start with gesturing & blocking the shapes, and move up to stylized linework.
All in all, none of it is flat-out bad work. You display the beginnings of a good bit of skill. It all just needs the polish that comes with a lot of practice.
