Bridges [XP]

 (Yes, I've googled and searched :>)

I'm not sure how to go about doing this. I've checked through the Tileset database just encase it was possible within the tileset to set, but nothing.

I'm trying to create a bridge the player can walk under and walk across. Its something that appears a lot in my game. What game doesn't have a bridge? :P

Does anyone know how to go about doing this for XP? There is a video for VX on it, using events. But I'm not using VX, and I'm not sure I'd have to apply the same technique to it. I'm hoping I don't...

So, does anyone know how?

Thanks for readin'! :thumb:

....how did that not come up with my searches? :/ I tried "How to create bridges in XP" and "RPGXP Bridges" and "Bridges for RPGXP" and "Building bridges in RPGXP"...

Thanks, Bacon! :33

Hm, so it only takes eventing? Dang...I was hoping there was an easier way, like parts of the tileset settings that I was bein' dumb about and didn't know you could change. I tried this, only I used the tileset piece within the character section and I couldn't create the whole bridge, worked, but couldn't create the button rope. That thread provided me with the graphic I needed. :>

I guess the event I made previous shouldn't have never been deleted... :<

Alright, guess I'm stuck with eventing it. Thanks again, Bacon!

EDIT:
... The bridge disappears :<

What does the OP mean by this:
All Pages
Graphic: (Tileset) - Bridge or Bridges
Note: The included Bridges charset in the demo is used to create the front tile of each bridge. Make sure the event id of front piece is greater than those in the rear or else the bridge will not display properly.

With event ID, he should be referring to the Page ID in any of your events.

Also, your search problem might be related to you writing RPGXP (which I haven't heard in my life) instead of RMXP (which abbreviates 'RPG Maker XP').
