[BR] Breeze Imp

I got bored and decided to try some spriting, so I finished up the Imp Charset on the Breeze Revolution Site.

I didn't do the first row, I think Greenraven did that one.

Oh and the Breeze Revolution thread icon is missing 0_o Anyone else notice or is it just my computer?

It's a good outline, but you could shade it a little to give it some depth.

Also I don't think there is a Breeze Revolution icon.

it's so cute....awww...it makes me want to...have it.....poor wittle imp("It Has an evil face I know but I can imagine...")....

YEA!

Good Job!!

Yeah, that's a common response to Breeze mobs.

Anyways, this is good, but could do with some more shading and maybe a TINY bit of selout.

Ok so I'll shade it a bit more and then post the new one. But Gratheo what's Selout? Kinda new at this(First Sprite) so I dunno all the terms and stuff yet XD
And I checked again and that BR Icon is NOT there =/

@Xinrua- haha thanks

@midnight- I think it's just because the head is smaller and I made it a little too squareish I'll try to fix it when I redo the shading.

EDIT: Ok I tried shading a bit more, any better?

I'd be happy to explain it. Selout stands for Selective Outlining. Basically, it means not outlining everything in one big block color. Actually, now that I've thought about it, this sprite doesn't need selout. You should, however, shade the horns and head to show shadows.

Yes, but still....
...needs a ("Nintendo...")Wii bit more....
("But not as big as a nintendo wii...")
use a darker color for shading...and put the shading color you have now around the edgeds....but not to much around it("Just a{"Nintendo..."} Wii bit..")...

GL("Good Luck!")!

EDIT: It might actualy not need what I just said....

haha I'm a little lost, what shadow am I supposed to be showing?

Well, as you can see in the front view, the horns stick out above the head.
So they would cast a shadow on the head, right? Give a small 1 pixel shadow to the lower right of the horns, I think.

Hmm I'm lookin at this and I really can't see what you mean. I tried doing what you said but it didn't look any better so I probly did it wrong and I even tried looking at some other sprites with horns but none of em have any shadows from the horns, so I'm still a little lost lol =/

I think Gratheo is going blind, only place I could see you even doing this is on the bottom frames and even then the light source will be hitting the back of its head so it wouldn't even cast one then. There is not enough room on the rest of the front head to cast a shadow on the back of the head, the ears are to far from the head to cast one there, and the side views already have a cast shadow.

So personally I think it looks good. I don't have any complaints.

Oh ok thanks! I was going nuts trying to find out where to put that shadow XD
Ok well then, I guess it's done. If I decide to do any more(and I probably will) I'll post em here or make a workshop or something =)

There isn't anything different from the New and the Old as far as I can see?

Looks good, perfect size to the RTP imp.

You should use a less harsh pallete, that imp is a bit too bright.

I couldn't really change much, there wasn't alot of room since the child template is so small, and I had to make the head even smaller...
If you look at them up close you can see that the new one is SLIGHTLY shaded more

I just used the same pallete GR used on the first row, I'll try to darken it and see if it looks any better

Edit: The BR Icon is back! haha
Edit2: NAw I tried darkening it and it looked really bad, I'll just leave it like this.

but now he is blue.....I thought imps were red....and green...but blue???
Maybe....they do have them in world of warcraft....
I actauly think it's good!

I recolored a few more in response to that. I've seen pink colored imps before, but I just won't go there. Here is a mild skin tone, 2 reds, and a darker green.

I've never seen a blue imp. The only imps I seen are the green RTP imp, and the Runescape red imp.

Anyway, Good recolors Axerax!
