Box-Pushing Puzzle Question

I am trying to implement a box puzzle into my latest attempt at a game. I can make the box move on contact with the player, but I want it so that when it lands on a hole in the bridge, that hole is filled in. Is there some way to check for an event making contact with another event?
 
Create a parallel process that tracks the boxe's X& Y.

Set up a conditional branch that when the correct box x and y are reached, it changes sprites or w/e. Not that hard. Although you'll need to move whatever event is blocking the hole, or the event won't be able to fill the space.
