They're right Lene, it could be straight out of a commercial game... Do you work in mp3/ogg as well though? I am only using those types for my score.

Calibre, you could just convert the MIDI to OGG or MP3.

I can, and I plan on doing it when I have some more time. I'm focusing on getting more songs out first though.

@Totti - It doesn't quite work like that. MP3's are written differently to midi's. They have a more real sound to them in most cases.

@Calibre, yet converters still exist, i've seen them on websites before, never tried them myself.

I guess I'd be a bit wary using a converter since, first I did say I was planning on making it into MP3 myself. Also it'll probably sound better that way because I use samples, soundfonts and virtual instruments and I'm not sure how those converters work.

Well I tried a converter, and like I assumed it came out sounding exactly the same, except had an mp3 file extension and a larger file size.

I think it basically just does it the ghetto way. I could do that as well by recording the midi output with a program that records audio like Goldwave. I guess it'll work, but wait a little while and give my version a shot.
