[BM] Classics Revisited

I hope this is the correct place for this post. You'd think that I would know by now, but... lol

I'm going to be revisiting some musical pieces from older RPG games like Final Fantasy 6-9 / Tactics, Breath of Fire 3, Parasite Eve, Chrono Cross, etc. and remaking some key pieces using better-quality sounds and some live recording. Nothing will be remixed or "add-libbed".

I was just going to do it and pick pieces on my own, but I figured I'd come here and ask. Does anyone have any requests?

UPDATE: I'll be choosing only 2 songs from each game, and a total of 5 games. So far, there are 3 games "chosen", and they're all Final Fantasy...

since this isn't a true request station, its fine.

I'm not sure why you're doing Aeris' theme, as there are plenty of orchestrated versions already available...

I would suggest doing some from FF6, such as the Opera and Cyan's theme.

And also, from that game there were a set of 8 songs you could learn to play on the piano starting with just a really basic scale (played badly), and ending with a short piece by mozart. (I have the midis of it)
Something like that would be fun to have for any game.

You're right, there are a million Aeris arrangements out there. It's just the first song that came to mind while I was typing. And it's in the ideas column, so it's not guaranteed to make the list, and to he honest I don't think I really want to do it anyway.

The FF6 opera scene is a good one, that may be fun. The piano thing may be fun too. Good ideas, Tana! (I never asked why you changed from Satana, I liked that)

May I suggest the Figaro Castle's theme (FF6 or FF3 US).

If your doing an FF6 midi, either do Save Them! or The Fierce Battle.

Also, I know these probably arn't the style your looking for, but try doing any piece from either Mega Man X 1 or 2. All great tunes.

Good ideas. I think I'm shooting for only one or 2 songs from each game. I'm mostly looking for songs that are under-appreciated but that would represent the game well. I may start one tonight and see if I can finish it for you all to listen to.
