Sorry about not explaining. His "bankai" is the form he's taken in the reference pic. And yes, I'm drawing his cape. Does it look alright for what I have?

I believe Ichigo's bankai allows him to move at speeds so fast most foes do not have any chance to retaliate. Pretty much, Zangetsu is translated roughly into "Moon Crescent Fang". Since Zangetsu also wears a red cape in human form, and Ichigo turns a bit to look like him when entering bankai, that is why there is a red cape and a moon. (feel free to correct me, as I have not watched the japanese episodes of Bleach in a while, which is where I get the translations for the names..)
