Black or White ?

Hello dear forum members.

I have a request to all of you who own a Nintendo DS lite.
I want to buy one next weekend, BUT I don't know if I should take a white or a black one.

What I did was search the whole web for decent REAL pictures of the white and black
versions, but I couldn’t find decent ones. I'd like pictures of both of them, so I can compare.

Since I cant go to the shop and say; "can you open up a white and black one for me ?"
So I rely on you all to help me decide and post a realistic picture of your WHITE OR
BLACK Nintendo DS LITE. Advice or argument why taking one of the colours is also welcome!

Help me, please I can’t choose! My Girlfriend says: "Take a Black one" And my best friend says "a White!"
Their arguments are that a black one is more stylish, but the white one is more clear and gives a lither gameplay-feeling. AND I BOTH AGREE WITH THEM HEEELP ! 


Arguments so far...

BLACK

- girlfriend says so, and she is always right  :lol:
- badass
- more contrast
- looks better when worn out

- It gives a much heavier feeling when gaming

WHITE

- clear
- lighter in gaming exp. (white lightens up, black darkens
- My best friend say white, and he's a pro console gamer, so he has good reason for it

I'd suggest the black version myself. The screen looks much better due to the contrast, and you'll feel like a badass while playing it. Besides, the white always had a sort of transparent quality to it that I never liked. :\

It's just a prettier machine. White on black is much more stylish (ugh) than black on white.

Hmm, It's true that it looks more badass, AND I think it would give me a warmer gaming expirience, but then again, a white one is so extreemly pro. Like clear and delecate. And it gives a more free and fresh impression...

Wow. This is a problem. Personally, I'd say to hunt down an orange one (Yes, they *do* exist) but you should probably listen to your girlfriend. Although, black ones are really common. Getting a white one would make you different.
....Still, listen to the woman. Appeasing her will get you farther in life.

First, this is in the wrong board.  Second, something like this is merely a matter of personal preference.  I myslef would prefer a red one, but am stuck with gray (mine is a launch DS).

To me, the white just looks bad, anyway. It seems sterile and reminds me of tooth enamel.

Go with what your girlfriend says. She sounds like she's got a head on her shoulders, anyway.

(And unless you're going to be playing that DS as you strut your merry way down the boulevard, you shouldn't worry about which colour is more common. Just keep it to the opinions of those who are likely to see you in more than passing, but also remember that no one's going to judge you by something like the colour of your DS.)

It's not about video games, but colour preference -- in my (un)professional opinion, this'd be equally fine in either area. : P

Of course, I guess that means I'd be happy with wherever this ends up. Excellent.

@ Zarikashi, and some others: My relationship with my girlfriend is more than solid enough to have a different colour of game-boy than she suggests  :lol: So It's more in a way that she kinda  knows me , you see ?

Ok, so far so good. I had a dream about it and now I'm really getting fired up about choosing.

:sad: Guys, Girls, I still don't know what to pic. I was meditating on it and trying to visualise how it felt when I had the white one in my hand , and when  had the black one in my hands. This is what I got out of meditating  :shock:

BLACK

"ow this is awesome, I'm so badass, and hey; it has more character to it, btw my girlfriend is going to buy a white one so I can play on hers if my gets boring... Hmmm although it gives me kind of a depressing feeling. It's so black after all..."

WHITE

Then, after few more hours of psychological research I found my answer, but still I couldn’t choose...

Iunno, not a lot of your conclusions make any sense. to me it sounds like you're carrying the distinction and its connotations much farther than is normal for a simple colour difference. :crazy:
