bgm reset after battle

everytime you complete a battle in rmxp and go back onto the map screen the bgm resets.
I have searched this topic and found a topic similar to this but it was posted a while back with no avail.
I was just wondering if anyone has created a script or found a way to stop the bgm reseting after the battle concludes.

So, a way to memorize the spot where the BGM is at the start of a battle and begin it from that point once it's over? Sounds interesting. I agree, we need one of those just for the sake of versatility.
