[BGM] General Theme

It uses six different string instruments, is 3:00 long, and is fairly non-repetitive. It's layered, and written like Pachebel's Canon, as every melody goes with every other melody, and when layered, sound good.

It's definitely good.. But I think the lack of repetitiveness is actually a flaw..

The best songs are ones people can hum to. With ones such as these, though they are nice, they won't get stuck in your head. A little repetitiveness is not a bad thing.

Repetitiveness is something I do need to steer farther away from, but I'll always use it at least a little bit.

by the way, if you listen closely, there are only 3 sections, two being four bars long, one being 8 bars long, and you can pick them out. It's just, they're layered specially so they don't sound repetitive.

not too bad i like it, what program do u use to make music ? oh and wheres a good place to upload mp3s you wanna share cause I have 1 i wanna upload for the forum.

I saw "Pachelbel's Canon" and just had to listen. ^_^ I play that in my high school band every year at graduation. Such a great song.

And it does sound like it would be good in a graduation scene. Or something academic, like walking around a school. I really like it. I did recognize the repetitiveness after a while, though. Which isn't really a bad thing since it's supposed to be a canon.

You did really good on the layering/overlapping parts. I think a version without so much string would be beter, though. Maybe with some horns, reeds, or bells, just for variety's sake. Canons usually have different instrument groups repeating the melody, instead of like all string, all brass, etc.
