Best Game ever played?

If someone already made a thread like this I don't mind if you close this thread.
I wanted to hear from you which is the best game(s) you ever played?
My favourites are Metroid Prime 3 and Chrono Trigger (everyone who hates Chrono Trigger or Chrono Cross should die in a fire )
Metroid Prime 3:
The fact i loved this game was because everything was good about it the story, graphics and gameplay are just great.
I don't get people who complain about this game because it has no online mode...
Chrono Trigger:
The Battle System was just awesome and the Story (for the time it was released) too. I loved the Character-Design and the time traveling and it was like 90 hours long.
Your post should be like this.
Just tell us which game(s) and why you think it is the best game you ever played.

Chrono Trigger 90 hours long? Maybe if you get everything and all endings, but i do agree its a good game... anyways my fav games are

Final Fantasy Tactics Advance- First tactics game I have ever liked. Bad story but game play was so fun... 100s of hours on this game

Final Fantasy VII- LOVE THIS GAME!!!!!!! Great stroy, Great everything!

Call of Duty 4- Story mode was epic, and the online is GODLY!

Resistance Fall of Man- Wasn't a fan of the online but IMO has best story ever

Chrono Trigger is the best game ever in my opinion. No doubt.

I have never played Chrono Cross, because I thought I might just get upset if it aint as good as Chrono Trigger.
Anyone got any review about that game anywhere? Please tell me.

Psychonauts.  It's funny, it's fun, and it never really gets old.  What more could you ask for in a video game?

Best game ever, eh?
In my case, The Legend of Zelda 3: A Link to the Past (GBA version, but SNES works too, just I have the GBA version) and Golden Sun (both of them collectively) fight for top rankings there.

Zelda 3 had good graphics, and the game design was overall great for its time (cliche comment, perhaps?)... I'm not sure. I just love it--but I suck at explaning my feelings for things, particularly games...  :brow:

GS had legendary music (again with my explanation problem--"legendary", in this case, holds a meaning only I can comprehend), and--well, the music sort of tied everything together. I liked the character design (Manga is the best! Usually.), the battle cinematics and weapon selection as well as classes, and then there's Djinn. The Djinn made Golden Sun like no other RPG. I would have to say the biggest, if not only problem with GS is the difficulty levels. Once you reach a certain point in the duology...
If you beat Golden Sun 1, your data file becomes stuck in preparation for transition to GS2: The Lost Age. If you transfer, there are 3 major benefits for you: Your original party of 4 is conserved (and no doubt powerful, if you could beat the final boss) for uniting with your second party (GS2's 4 main characters) after clearing the 3rd Lighthouse and returning to town. 2nd, there are a few NPCs who mention Isaac (or whatever you named him) and give you goodies. Lastly, and most importantly, this transfer is required for a 100% clear!
As I go on, if you transfer data, there is ABSOLUTELY NO WAY IN H*** you can possibly get a game over UNLESS you visit the secret and ULTIMATE boss, the one who reduces you a puddle before COMPLETELY ANNIHILATING your party. In case I wasn't clear (with parentheses and commas in this universe, I probably wasn't),
the game is too easy unless you go for secrets, then it's too hard.

I probably sound a bit whiney with the "too hard" thing, but I'd like to see you take on
Dullahan
!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

So, any questions? Oh, yeah, back to Zelda 3... that had "legendary" music as well.

Lunar: Silver Star Story for the Sega CD.  Sure the Sega Saturn version/Playstation remake was a more complete game with a more fine tuned story and awesome cutescenes, but without the Sega CD version of the game the remake wouldn't have been possible.

Phantasy Star 4 needs a mention as well.  For it's time the game was epic, easily beating out any of the SNES's RPGs.  The graphics were a few years old (I think they were using PSII's engine) but the pure amount of stuff and the size of the game made up for that.  This is also the only game that has ever made me cry.  I won't say why, but I cried like a baby at one point in this.

Final Fantasy Series. Love every one of them.

My favorite is a battle between the Tactics series, and Final Fantasy 7 - Best storyline of them all, despite the shitty graphics

Final fantasy 7 is the best game ever it was the only ff game to have a couple of sequels and had a great movie. but my second favorite was final fantasy 10 and 10-2 great games and a beutiful story.
