Can someone direct me to a tutorial on making a simple rpg with rmxp. I need to know all the basics. Also, i need overworld tiles that doesnt require me to become a member to get.

Also, i want a battle system that looks like Final Fantasy (monsters on the left and players on the right) and is turn based.

Not sure if you're joking with the next part. You already are a member so that first bit about finding an overworld tileset isn't a problem, yes? However we currently don't have resource listing for quick and easy access. So you'll have to search the Resource Analysis Forum and if that fails make a resource request thread as Here. Please read the rules before posting there and the same goes for this next part. In Submitted RGSS/RGSS2 Scripts search for "Sideview Battle System" or "Mr. Mo's", "Paradogs". If you run out of luck in the search create a script request thread Here.

@khmp: I think tauchaen doesn't want to sign up for Inq's world map tiles. There are a few lying around here (you can try a forum search), but your best bet is probably Inquisitor's tiles.

Also, this is one of the best starting tutorials for RMXP. Although unfinished, it still covers things from planning a world and characters to frankenspriting your own graphics. Try ccoa's Demystifying the Game Process.
